Position Summary

The Brand Promoter serves as the face of Cookies Jamaica in retail partner locations, driving product awareness, customer engagement, and sales. This role combines in-person brand activation, social media content creation, and community building to strengthen the brand’s presence and increase customer loyalty.

Successful candidates will help convert first-time customers into loyal brand advocates while creating engaging content that amplifies the Cookies experience both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Activation & Customer Engagement

• Execute two (2) four-hour activation blocks daily across assigned retail partner locations.
• Engage customers, educate them about products, and create positive brand experiences.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits while encouraging purchase decisions.
• Drive sales and support retail partners in increasing product sell-through.
• Maintain an energetic, welcoming, and professional brand presence throughout each activation.

Social Media & Content Creation

• Capture high-quality content during activations, including photos, videos, reels, stories, and customer interactions.
• Create engaging content aligned with Cookies Jamaica’s brand identity.
• Encourage customer participation and social sharing.
• Generate tagged content and increase brand reach through social engagement.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

Community Building

• Recruit customers to loyalty programs, promotions, and brand initiatives.
• Build relationships with customers and local communities.
• Leverage personal networks and social influence to increase awareness and foot traffic.
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the Cookies lifestyle and brand culture.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Submit daily reports detailing customer engagement, sales activity, and units sold.
• Track loyalty sign-ups, customer interactions, content performance, and social reach.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences, retail activity, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate records of activation performance and campaign results.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in promotions, customer service, retail sales, hospitality, events, or brand marketing is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently and engaging with large groups of people.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and promotional events.

• Experience as a brand ambassador, promoter, influencer, event host, or field marketing representative.
• Proven ability to generate engagement both online and in person.
