About the Role
DCM Media is seeking a creative, strategic and highly organized Creative Officer — Content & Strategy to lead the planning and execution of compelling content across multiple client accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who can turn business objectives, audience insights and cultural trends into engaging content. You will shape content strategies, develop monthly calendars, guide creative production and collaborate with designers, videographers, editors and digital marketing professionals to deliver work that is consistent, on-brand and results-driven.
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable developing big-picture ideas, writing persuasive copy, coordinating creative deliverables and supporting hands-on content production when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Planning
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars for multiple client accounts.
- Create content strategies and social media plans aligned with client goals, campaigns, target audiences and relevant cultural trends.
- Generate platform-appropriate content ideas designed to increase engagement, reach and brand visibility.
- Coordinate content schedules, approvals and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify opportunities for timely, relevant and trend-driven content.
Creative Direction and Quality Control
- Develop creative concepts and provide direction for photography, video and audiovisual content.
- Prepare clear and actionable briefs for designers, videographers, editors and other creative partners.
- Ensure all creative deliverables reflect the client’s brand identity, tone of voice, messaging and campaign objectives.
- Review content for accuracy, quality, consistency and platform suitability before publication.
- Provide constructive feedback and guide revisions where necessary.
Copywriting and Content Development
- Write engaging captions, blogs, campaign copy and other marketing content.
- Adapt messaging for different brands, audiences and digital platforms.
- Help establish and maintain a consistent, distinctive voice for each client.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy and professionalism.
Community Management
- Support the management of comments, messages and other online interactions.
- Help maintain positive, timely and brand-appropriate communication with online communities.
- Monitor accounts and remove spam or inappropriate content in collaboration with the wider team.
- Escalate sensitive interactions or reputational concerns when necessary.
Performance and Optimization
- Contribute to monthly performance reports and content reviews.
- Monitor key content and social media performance indicators.
- Use performance insights to recommend improvements to content, messaging and digital strategy.
- Identify successful content themes and opportunities for ongoing optimization.
Content Production and Event Support
- Create basic graphic and video content when required.
- Attend selected client meetings, photoshoots and content-production sessions.
- Provide live social media coverage at client events, which may occasionally take place outside standard working hours.
Collaboration and Account Support
- Work closely with the creative and digital marketing teams on campaigns and ongoing client initiatives.
- Communicate clearly with internal team members and support the efficient delivery of client work.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple brands while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Perform other reasonable duties aligned with the role and DCM Media’s business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content strategy, social media management, copywriting, digital marketing or a related role.
- Experience working with multiple brands or within an agency environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating content planning, copywriting, campaign development or creative production.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics and project-management tools.
Work Schedule and Location
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week across five days.
- The role offers some flexibility; however, the successful candidate must be available for scheduled meetings, client commitments and agreed deadlines.
- This is primarily a remote position, with occasional in-person attendance required for meetings, photoshoots, content production and live events.
- Some evening or weekend availability may be required for event coverage, with advance notice where possible.
