As we continue our growth across Jamaica, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing & Events Manager to drive customer acquisition, loyalty, strategic partnerships, and brand experiences.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, customer engagement, and event execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning brand activity into measurable business growth while strengthening Cookies Jamaica’s presence across the island.

Position Summary

The Marketing & Events Manager is responsible for executing marketing initiatives, managing customer loyalty programs, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering high-impact events that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong project management, relationship-building, and execution skills. The successful candidate will oversee the complete customer journey—from first engagement through repeat purchase—while ensuring all brand activities align with business objectives and performance targets.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Execution

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across social media, email marketing, digital platforms, retail locations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and design teams to ensure consistent and timely delivery of marketing assets.
  • Develop and manage marketing calendars, promotional schedules, and campaign rollouts.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize initiatives based on customer engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Translate marketing activity into measurable business outcomes including customer acquisition, foot traffic, sales conversion, and repeat purchases.

Loyalty Program Management

  • Own and grow the Join the Movement loyalty programme.
  • Drive membership acquisition and customer participation.
  • Develop retention campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage loyalty communications, rewards, promotions, and customer touchpoints.
  • Analyze customer behavior and recommend initiatives to increase repeat purchases and lifetime customer value.

Partnerships & Affiliate Development

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships that generate customer referrals and revenue opportunities.
  • Build relationships with:
    • Airbnb hosts
    • Hotel concierges
    • Villa managers
    • Tourism operators
    • Transportation providers
    • Local influencers and brand affiliates
  • Design and implement partner engagement programs.
  • Track referral activity and ensure partnership initiatives generate measurable returns.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand Cookies Jamaica’s referral and affiliate network.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead event planning and execution from concept development through post-event reporting.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, suppliers, logistics, timelines, and on-site operations.
  • Coordinate staffing, promotional activities, sponsorship opportunities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure all events are delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards.
  • Oversee:
    • In-store activations
    • Product launches
    • Pop-up experiences
    • Community events
    • Industry conferences and exhibitions

Primary Deliverable

CanEx Caribbean Wellness Summit – October 2026

This event will serve as the flagship project for the role and will require full ownership of planning, execution, partnership coordination, and post-event performance reporting.


Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, events, partnerships, or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and delivering measurable marketing results.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, loyalty marketing, and brand activation.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Jamaica.

Preferred

  • Experience within retail, hospitality, tourism, lifestyle brands, consumer products, or events.
  • Experience managing loyalty programmes or customer engagement platforms.
  • Existing network within Jamaica’s tourism, hospitality, and entertainment industries.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale events and activations.
